Funeral services for Adam Horack, 17, of Dickinson, will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hodson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Dickinson.

Visitation for Adam will be 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Stevenson Funeral Home, before the service.

Adam passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Dickinson, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Adam Horack was born January 26, 1995 in Sidney, MT, the son of James and Karen Horack. He attended grade school in Glendive, MT before moving to Dickinson with his family. Dickinson has been home for Adam for over five years. He attended Hagen Jr. High and Dickinson High School. Adam was a lovable, strong willed, independent and fireball kind of guy. No one was a stranger for long when he was around. He was always willing to help others and he liked to tease his friends. He enjoyed riding scooter, xbox, music, swimming, traveling, animals and bbq’s. Adam also enjoyed his car, and spending time with his friends.

Adam is survived by his parents, Karen & James of Dickinson; grandfather, Frank Glasspoole of New Castle, WY; brothers, Michael (Kasey) Burton and Mollie of Omaha, NE, Christopher (Taylor) Burton and Payton of Bismarck, ND, and Brady Horack of Dickinson; and sister, Damian (Bryce) Jones and Myleigh of Sidney, MT.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Arleen Horack and Dorothy Boyle, great-grandmother, Ester Smith, and cousins, Jason Transue and Zack Norbom.
