Mass of Christian Burial for Adam Miller, 75, Dickinson, is Thursday, March 13, 2003, 10:00 a. m. at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church with Father Austin Vetter, celebrating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick?s Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 11:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with a rosary at 7:00 p. m. led by Jerry & Agnes Kelly. Visitation continuing Thursday until one hour prior to service. Adam passed away Monday, March 10, 2003, at St. Joseph Health Care in Dickinson. Adam was born on April 26, 1927 to John A. and Monica (Fichter) Miller on the family farm near Gladstone. He grew up and attended country schools near there. Adam began farming with his brother Val and together with the aid of their sister Elvira they farmed until 1991 when they retired. They moved to Dickinson where they have made their home since. Adam enjoyed doing word puzzles and listening to music. He was a quiet, gentle person who always took care of his family. Adam was a very active member of the St. Patrick?s Catholic Church of Dickinson. Survivors include, four sisters, Tillie Rettig, Kathy (Clarence) Hanel, Elvira (Patty) Miller all of Dickinson and Lorane (Lori) Raab, Phoenix, AZ; two sister-in-laws, Sharon and Mary Miller, a brother-in-law, Ben Wolbaum all of Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Christ, Mike and Valentine; a sister, Margaret Wolbaum; a brother-in-law, Ambrose Rettig and a sister-in-law, Cecilia Miller.
