Adeline Creviston

Adeline Creviston, age 92, a resident of the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin and formerly of Dickinson and Hebron, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at the Marian Manor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Central Time on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Hebron, ND. Burial will be in the Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 on Sunday at Spangelo Funeral Home in Hebron with a prayer service at 7:00 PM it will continue 0ne hour prior to services at the church. Adeline was born December 30, 1914 on her parent?s farm in the Antelope area, and was the fifth child of Jacob and Sophia (Wiege) Krein. With her older brothers, Emil, Ted, Henry, and sister Anna, she spent her childhood years on the family farm and attended country school. On August 9, 1957 Adeline married Hervey Creviston, and along with her son Tom, moved to Hervey?s farm near New Salem to join his daughter Alma. In 1958 Tim was born and completed the family. After a short residence in Glen Ullin, they bought the Brick City Motel in Hebron which they operated from 1961 until 1973 and after retirement they moved to Dickinson. Hervey preceded her in death on December 17, 1995. Adeline continued to reside in Dickinson until February of 2007 when she became a resident of Marian Manor in Glen Ullin. During her life Adeline enjoyed entertaining guests, gardening, quilting, old time gospel music, her church groups, board and card games, sewing and baking and her family. Those left to share the legacy of her love include her daughter Alma, and son-in-law Leonard Heid of New Salem, ND; son Tom, and daughter-in-law Judy of Franktown, CO, Grandson Michael, his wife Jolene and children Anthony, Jacob, and Alysa of Chattanooga, TN, grandsons Jason and Scott of Colorado; her son Tim of Scottsdale, AZ, and his daughter Amanda; one brother Emil, Richardton, ND; nieces Pattie Conlon, Dickinson, ND, Judy Johnk, Jamestown, ND; and nephew Frank and his wife Diane of Jamestown, NDShe was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Henry and Theodore Krein, and one sister: Anna Conlon.
