Adrian passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012, at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker, MT following a short battle with cancer. Adrian August Goroski was born on April 30th 1956 to Joe and Christine (Novacek) Goroski in Beach, ND. Adrian attended country school while living in Carlyle. In 1962 the Goroski family moved to Baker where they had built a new home. Adrian attended Baker schools and graduated from Baker high school in 1973. After high school he attended many years of college at MSU Bozeman. He was not sure what he wanted to do when he grew up so he went through the nursing program and was a semester short of completing that and than he switched to the civil engineering program. In 1982 he enlisted in the United States Navy for a short period of time till he filed for a hardship discharge to take care of his loving wife. In the late 70’s he met his true love Nellie Bondell and the two were married on December 30 1983. To this union was one child born, Christine ‘Chrissy’ Goroski. They made their home together north of Baker until her MS could not allow for him to care for her. Adrian was very proud of his jobs through out life. The first was working for a water company where he drove water truck over a million miles. After the oilfield he found the true passion in his life and that was working for the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT). He just made his 25 anniversary with the State of Montana on November 2nd. Adrian enjoyed being project manager for the State and giving all of his co workers grief everyday and they did the same over his long hair that he took pride in and including all his nick names such as Yeti and Sasquatch. In 2006 he became a grandfather for the first time and enjoyed his time with his two grandchildren Grace and Arian who always called him ?Papa?. Papa stuck around our home and he seemed to become Papa to everyone including friends and family at home. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten in our hearts. Adrian is survived by his daughter, Chrissy (Bruce) Dietz of Baker, MT; his grandchildren, Grace and Arian Dietz, of Baker, MT; a sister, Marlene O?Connell, Great Falls, MT; a brother, Jerry (Robin) Goroski, Great Falls, MT; a sister-in-law, Jackie Goroski, Lewistown, MT and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
