Agnes ?Aggie? Moore, 84, of Baker passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Fallon Medical Complex. She was born on May 26, 1919 at Reeder, ND the daughter of Harry and Mary (Poster) Becker. Aggie grew up and attended school at Reeder. After graduating high school in 1938, she enrolled in NYA School in Mandan, ND. Soon after completing her schooling, Aggie went to Ismay, MT to work for the Joe Riley family. There she met Roy Moore. They were married June 9, 1942 at Baker. After spending time at Miles City and Baker, they made their home in Bowman, ND. Together they began to raise their four children: Lee, Mary, Robert, and Purley. Roy passed away in 1971. During the seventies, Aggie worked for St. Luke?s Hospital as a Certified Nurse?s Assistant. She found enjoyment in this job. In 1995, Aggie moved to Baker to make her final home. She loved her years Baker. She loved playing cards, music, dancing, telling jokes. Aggie could indian-wrestle with the best of ?em and she liked to do the splits, but only close to the telephone in case she got stuck! Those who knew Aggie will not forget her warm personality and sense of humor. Her family was the center of her life. Aggie loved her children and grandchildren tremendously. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; four brothers, Art, Bernard, Leo, and infant brother Richard. Aggie is survived by three sons: Lee (Linda) Moore and Robert (Ruth) Moore, both of Baker, and Purley (Annette) of Dickinson; a daughter, Mary (Bob) Engesser of Bismarck; a brother, Robert (Frances) Becker of Bowman; a sister, Sister Mary Benedict of Frankford, IL; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Prayer service will be held on Friday, Mar. 5, at 7 PM at Stevenson Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, Mar. 6, at 11 AM at the American Lutheran Church. A luncheon will be served immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be at 2 PM in the Moore family lot in Bowman Cemetery, Bowman.
