A funeral Mass for Agnes Olheiser, 85, Dickinson, will be 9:30 a. m. , Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Shannon Lucht celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation for Agnes will be 4:00 p. m. – 7:00 p. m. , Wednesday, February 4th at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 6:00 p. m. Agnes passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson. Agnes Marie was born March 22, 1929 on the family farm 14 miles southwest of Dickinson, the daughter of George and Beata (Heidt) Olheiser. She had 15 siblings and while growing up she attended St. Pius School in Schefield for one year and then country school in Stark County through the eighth grade. Agnes worked at St. Benedict’s Nursing Home and in 1966, at Dickinson dry cleaning at City Cleaners. She then became a cook at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, where she was employed for 30 years. After her retirement in 1996, she joined RSVP working as a volunteer for ten years. She was a dedicated employee who enjoyed her work. She also enjoyed gardening, yard-work, sewing, traveling, gambling, visiting with family and friends, and her cat, Pearl. Agnes is survived by her sisters, Barbara Weiler, Leona Reisenauer, Beata Schwindt, Jean Frisbee and Cecelia Samson; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Beata; brothers, Joe, Ralph, George, Christ, Tony and Al; sisters, Tillie Urlacher, Ida Kuntz and Rose Kitzan.
