Funeral Mass for Agnes Stockert, 100, of Dickinson, ND is 10:00 a. m. , Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England, ND with Father Patrick Moore, O. S. B. celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery, New England, ND. Rosary and Vigil will be held at 7:00 p. m. , Friday, June 24, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND with Deacon Bob Stockert officiating. Visitation will be from 2 ? 9 p. m. Friday at the funeral home, continuing on Saturday one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Agnes Reisenauer was born on August 28, 1910 in Rostadt, Russia the daughter of Iqnatz and Mary Eva (Kilwein) Reisenauer. As an infant, the family left Russia to come to the United States for a better life. A sister passed away on the trip from Russia. The family settled in the Scheffield area where they were all raised, educated and helped care for each other with a family of thirteen. In 1923, Agnes lost her mother, Mary Eva at the age of 39. Agnes was married to Dominick Stockert on November 22, 1927. To this union nine children were born, an infant son, Valentine, Martin, Alex, Eugene, Raymond, Irene, Edward and Larry. Together they lived in the New England area where they farmed until retirement in 1958. Agnes and Dominick were very active in the New England area and the Senior Citizens Center, many card clubs. Agnes had many hobbies and was a great pastime for her. The past few years Agnes has resided at Evergreen Inn and St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson. Survivors include, a daughter, Irene (Pete) Heidt, Dickinson, ND; six sons, Valentine (Evangeline) Stockert, Alex (June) Stockert, Eugene (Jean) Stockert, all of Dickinson, ND, Raymond (Mildred) Stockert, Fergus Falls, MN, Edward (Ann) Stockert, Dickinson and Larry (Jodi) Stockert, Audubon, MN; two brother, Joe (Barbara) Reisenauer, Bismarck, ND and Robert (Audrey) Reisenauer, San Diego, CA; 37 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, her parents, her husband, Dominick in 1974; two sons Valentine as an infant and Martin in 2003; a grandson, Gary, great grandson Eric; great-granddaughter Jennifer Homstead; sisters, Coelestina, Wilhemina and Sally Krous; brothers, Adolf, Frank, Alex, Dan, Anton, Jack, Pius and George.
