A Funeral Mass for Agnes Wychanko, 82, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Msgr. Patrick Schumacher celebrating. Burial will follow in Dickinson Cemetery.


Visitation for Agnes will be 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil service being held at 4:00 p.m.


Agnes passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson.


Agnes Rose Wychanko was born February 18, 1930 in Dickinson, the daughter of Valentine and Florence (Glaser) Weber. She grew up in the Schefield area, attending St. Pius School through the eighth grade. Agnes was a care giver for many years. She worked as a nurse’s aid at St. Luke’s Nursing Home for 16 years and at St. Benedict’s Health Center for 16 years. She has touched the lives of many. On August 28, 1989, Agnes married William J. “Bill” Wychanko. She enjoyed flying and traveling with Bill, especially their nine trips to Spain, Africa and Hawaii. Together, they loved to dance. In her past-time, Agnes loved to sew clothes, do needlework, garden and care for her flowers and plants. She also had a special love for her Persian cats, Smokey, Julian and Sasha. Agnes was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Elks and the KC Club.


Agnes is survived by Bill’s children, Cameron Wychanko of Dickinson, Quin (Naomi) Wychanko of Akron, OH, Camille O’Kara Hann of Dickinson; and Bill’s five grandchildren; Agnes’s brother, Tony (Roni) Weber and sister-in-law, Eleanor Weber of Dickinson; her nephews, Curtis (Noreen) Langendorff of Lewistown, MT, Charles Langendorff, Clarence (Jeannie) Langendorff, Creyton (Debbie) Langendorff and Conrad (Mary) Langendorff all of Great Falls, MT; and niece, Linda (Leonard) McNee of Great Falls, MT.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Valentine and Florence Weber; husband, William James Wychanko; brother, Henry Weber; and sisters, Barbara Langendorff and Eva Weber.
