Alan Bleth

Alan Bleth, 50, Grand Forks, formerly of Dickinson, died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 in Grand Forks, ND after a five month battle with cancer. Alan Francis Bleth was born April 4, 1955 to John and Marian (Martin) Bleth in Dickinson, North Dakota. He graduated from Dickinson High School in 1973 and attended NDSSS in Wahpeton for one year. He worked at various jobs in Dickinson until 1980, when he moved to Grand Forks. Alan was a member of Mountainbrooke Social Club, where he enjoyed spending time with friends, including two very special friends, Charlotte Gregerson and Julie Amundson. Alan is survived by: his mother, Marian, Dickinson; his brothers and sisters, Connie (Tom) McCarty, Grafton, Lynn (Alan) Leiss, Minneapolis, MN, Gary (Susan) Bleth, Dickinson, Joel Bleth, Dickinson, Beth (Dave) Rasmusson, Aberdeen, SD, Craig (Lisa) Bleth, Bismarck; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father John, and grandparents. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Mountainbrooke, 112 N. 3rd St. , Grand Forks, ND 58201. Alan’s cremains will be buried at a private family service. A memorial service will also be held at Mountainbrooke Social Club in Grand Forks at 11:00 a. m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2005.
