Albert, was born May 23, 1925 in Stark County, North Dakota to John and Anna (Ridl) Dvorak. He remained in the area with his family, attending country school and then farming with his father. In the early 1940?s Albert took over his family?s farm, operating it until 1979, at which, time he retired and moved to Dickinson. On January 26, 1977 Albert married Frances Kostelecky in Dickinson, North Dakota. Together they enjoyed fishing and going to their cabin on Lake Tchida. Albert being very fond of the outdoors found enjoyment in gardening and golfing. He loved to entertain friends and family by playing the accordion. Albert was a very talented carpenter and could fix anything. Albert loved the time spent with his grandchildren, especially playing Dominos. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church and The Eagles. Albert passed away Monday, February 23, 2004 at St. Benedict?s Health Center. Albert is survived by his wife, Frances Dvorak, Dickinson; step-daughters, Kathy (Connie) Kooren, South Heart, ND, Carol (Dennis) Bittenbinder, Fayetteville, AR; step-son, Vernon (Diana) Kostelecky, Dickinson, ND; eight step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; sisters: Emile Hedge, Minitee, CA, Sylvia Pavlicek, Canby, OR, Dorothea Renner and Mary Ann Culver, Dickinson; brother, Henry Dvorak, Dickinson; and special nephew, Lester Pavlicek, Canby, OR He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John and one infant brother.
