Albert was born November 7, 1938 in Dickinson, the son of Steve and Leona (Tuhy) Pavlicek.  As a young boy, he grew up on the family farm north of Dickinson and attended country school through the eighth grade.  Albert then worked for area farmers for several years and met the woman he would marry.  Albert married Pauline Heidt on October 22, 1957 at Gaylord, ND.  The couple made their home in Dickinson.  They were blessed with five children, Kevin, Terry, Janel, Jerry, and James.  Albert was a mechanic and he worked for Anfinsons, NW Tire, Husky Truck Stop and Tractor Supply.  He was a hard working-man and had a giving heart to the very end.  Albert will be remembered as a fun-loving guy who was always ready for a good joke and his outgoing personality made it easy to make friends where ever he went.  Albert was a member of St. Anthony Club and a Golden member of the Eagles.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, picture taking and listening to Old Time Music (Molly Bee & Polka Joe) and traveling to Polka Fests.  He enjoyed the Wissota Tour, Nascar, going to PBR with family, Western 100 with the boys and grandkids and the Southwest Speedway Races.  Albert loved spending time with his family and especially following his grandchildren and their activities.  He will be missed.

Albert is survived by his wife, Pauline; daughter, Janel Volesky of Dickinson; sons, Kevin Pavlicek of Aberdeen, SD, Terry Pavlicek of Minneapolis, MN, Jerry (Melissa) Pavlicek of Dickinson and James Pavlicek of Dickinson; nine grandchildren, Chelsie, Raquel, Brock, Bryn, Vance, Jared, Allison, Zachery, Jonah; four great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Karsyn, Odin, Braeden; brother-in-law, Jerome Roller.
