Funeral Mass for Alberta J. ?Bert? Hankins, 76, of Dickinson, ND will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Jeff Zwack celebrating. Burial will be in the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 9:00 p. m. , Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with a rosary service at 4:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, February 9, 2009 one hour prior to the service at the church. Bert passed away February 4, 2009 at St. Luke?s Home in Dickinson, ND. Alberta J. Keller was born July 7, 1932 in Bismarck, ND to Albert and Mary (Berger) Keller. She grew up and attended the St. Mary?s grade school and St. Mary?s High School in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck Junior College in 1951. On May 16, 1953 Bert and William ?Bill? Hankins were united in marriage in Bismarck. Bert worked as a legal secretary over the years in Grand Forks, Bismarck and Dickinson, ND. She was a member of Queen of Pace Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Trinity Booster Club. Bert enjoyed baking, especially caramel rolls, playing bridge and watching her children and grand children?s sporting events. Bert is survived by: husband, William ?Bill? one daughter; Susan (Doug) Howie, Bismarck, ND; sons; Tom (Kathy) Hankins, Aurora, Co; Bob (Mary) Hankins, Billings, MT and Mark Hankins, Littleton, Co; seven grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Betty Tavis, St. Louis, MO. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Albert and Mary Keller
