Funeral Mass for Alice Jung 81, of New England will be 10:30 am, MDT, Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Patrick Moore O. S. B celebrating. Burial will be 11:00 a. m. CDT, Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday, May 31, 2010 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Alice passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010, at the Baptist Home in Bismarck, ND. Alice Elizabeth Frieze was born August 3, 1928 to John and Lena (Basting) Frieze in rural Mott, ND. Alice grew up and attended country school in Hettinger County. She worked in Mott at the Caf? & Drug Store. Alice married William Jung on October 10, 1935 in Mott. William and Alice moved to Milwaukee, WI, where they worked on factory assembly lines. They moved back to New England in 1957 and took over the Jung family farm, which they operated until the time they retired. Alice enjoyed cooking, sewing, and embroidering. She enjoyed her daily telephone visits with family, friends, and neighbors. Alice was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in New England. She is survived by her sons, David (Nadine), Fort Collins, CO; Dan, New England; daughters, JoAnn Jung, Bismarck, ND; and Madonna (John) Wyze, Cokato, MN; grandchildren, Stewart Wyze, Tanner Wyze, Dana Wyze, and Darren Jung; brothers, John (Arlyce) Frieze, Mott; Joe (Darlene) Frieze, Bismarck; Leo (Roberta) Frieze, Bismarck; Henry Frieze, Jamestown; sisters, Ann (Richard) Ehil, Bismarck; Lucille (Stan) Rice, Minot; Katherine ?Kitty? (Norman) Hornberger, Park River, ND; Venita Wahlers, Gaines, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William, an infant son, and sisters, Eva, Pauline, and Margaret ?Marg? Emter.
