Funeral Mass for Alinda (Kadrmas) Stockert, 67, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. , Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. In accordance with Linda’s wishes, she has gifted her body to the University of North Dakota Deeded Body Program. Visitation for Linda will be from 2:00 – 9:00 p. m. , Tuesday, September 22nd at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary and Vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Linda passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at CHI St. Joseph’s Health, Dickinson, ND, due to complications from breast cancer. Alinda Kadrmas was born March 29, 1948, in Dickinson, ND, the daughter of Ludwig and Ann (Schroeder) Kadrmas. She grew up on the family farm north of Gladstone. Linda attended grade school at Wildrose #1 School, spent two years at Versippi, and graduated from Gladstone High School. She attended two years at Dickinson State College. After school Linda began working at White Drug and continued to do so for over 37 years. Linda cherished her family time and loved being around them and spending time with them. She loved to bond and spend time with her bowling girls. She also enjoyed Bingo, pull tabs, her signature drinks, Red Roosters and Colorado Bulldogs. Linda was especially fond of her grandsons, Blake and Carter, even naming her little dog C. B. after them. C. B. was her constant, wonderful companion; riding with Linda in her wheelchair. Linda cherished Mondays at her mother’s house playing dice with the family. She enjoyed listening to country music and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and NDSU football. Linda is survived by her son, Brian (Carolyn) of Alexandria, MN, two grandsons, Blake and Carter Stockert; brothers, Gordon (Pam) Kadrmas of Mandan, Galen (special friend, Clara) Kadrmas of Elgin, Alan (Carleen) Kadrmas of South Heart, Chester (Sandie) Kadrmas of Dickinson, Joel (Cheryl) Kadrmas of Bismarck, Ludwig Jr. (Mary Ann) Kadrmas of Dickinson, Bruce Kadrmas of Dickinson, Tracy (Becky) Kadrmas of Frenchtown, MT; sisters, Lisa (Curt) Buresh of Dickinson; brother-in-law Ken (Katie) Splichal of Dickinson and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Ann; a sister, Kay Splichal, and twin nieces. In lieu of flowers, Linda wanted donations to be made to the Northland PACE Senior Services Program, 820 2nd Ave E, Suite 212, Dickinson, ND 58601, 701-456-7387.
