Funeral service for Alvina (Fried) Allerdings, 95, Dickinson, ND, formerly of Plevna & Baker, MT will be 11:00 a. m. , Friday, January 22, 2016 at Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Plevna, MT with Pastor Joe Noel officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Union Cemetery, Plevna, MT. Family Receiving Friends for Alvina will be from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. , Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, ND. Alvina passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson. Alvina was born September 6, 1920, the daughter of Philip and Elizabeth (Fischer) Fried, in Leith, North Dakota. She attended the country grade school there in Leith. On May 12, 1941, Alvina and George Allerdings were united in marriage in Plevna, MT. They farmed and raised their three sons south of Plevna. Alvina was an active member of Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Plevna; teaching Sunday school and Bible school for many years. She was a member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Aide, and Adventurers Home Makers Club. Alvina moved to Baker in 1968 and worked at Russell’s Clothing Store from 1968 to 1999. She then made the Parkview Retirement Complex in Baker, MT her home from February, 1999 to February, 2013. Then, due to failing health, she moved to the Wibaux Co. Nursing Home until November of 2013 when she moved to St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson to be near her family until her time of death. Alvina is survived by her three sons; Raymond (Bonnie), Dickinson, Milbert (Betty), Dickinson, and Myron (Charlotte), Miles City, MT; 9 grandchildren, Kendall (Michelle) Allerdings of Dickinson, Brian (Michele) Allerdings of Dickinson, Sheryl Driscoll of Chanhassen, MN, Sheila (Jason) Dutke of Dickinson, Shandra Allerdings of Rapid City, SD, Sheryl Suttan of WY, Bill (Lisa) Howe of Billings, MT, Tom (Kathy) Howe of Great Falls, MT, Tim (Jeanine) Howe of Belgrade, MT; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; brothers, Edward, Philip, Alvin, Gottlob; sisters, Kathryn Wilson and Tillie Hillius; and daughter-in-law, Karen Allerdings. Memorials may be given to the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Plevna, MT.
