Andra passed away on October 25, 2013 at her home in Dickinson.

Andra was born on February 23, 1975 at Plains, MT, the daughter of Peggy Lee McBroom and Michael Lee Hargraves. She grew up and attended school in Fairbanks, Alaska. Andra was married to Jerald Wayne (JW) McKeown on November 9, 1992 at Harley Davidson Farthest North Outpost, officiated by Wiliam Fenderson in Fairbanks, AK. They had two daughters, Ciara Rose and Jasmine Willow. JW passed away on March 20, 2000 following a long bout with leukemia. When Andra was able to do so, she worked as a caretaker for the elderly, cook, and waitress. Due to illness, she was unable to continue on with this type of work. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially with her daughters and two grandchildren. Andra loved being a grandmother and as stated by her daughter, Ciara, the first thing she would do when she came to visit was get down on the floor with the grandchildren and play, seemingly oblivious to anyone or anything else. She was immensely proud of her daughters, Ciara Rose and Jasmine Willow. She often spoke of her deep love for her daughters and the pride she felt in how well they were doing in life. She encouraged their growth in every way she could. She also loved socializing with her friends.

Andra is survived by her daughters, Ciara Rose Mathern of Dickinson, ND and Jasmine Willow Vallie of Bismarck, ND; Ciara’s husband, Myles Mathern and their two children, Ella Rose Mathern and Nolan Blasé Mathern all of Dickinson, ND; her foster-sister, Merrie Shorter and her husband, Jim Shorter of North Pole, Alaska, (niece Jenna Shorter and nephew Shane Shorter); her mother-in-law, Dawn Becker of South Heart, ND; her brothers-in-law, Shane McKeown (and nephew Brett McKeown) of South Heart, ND and Lonny McKeown of Dickinson, ND.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Lee Brewer; and her husband, Jerald Wayne (JW) McKeown.
