Graveside Rites for Andrea ?Andi? Leigh Parks Royce, 56, of Columbus, MT formerly of Ekalaka, MT will be held 2:00 p. m. , Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Beaverlodge Cemetery in Ekalaka, MT. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2005 from 9:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. continuing on Sunday from 9:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Andi passed away Thursday, July 14, 2005 at the Billings Deaconess Hospital following a short illness. She was born July 23, 1948 at Ekalaka, the daughter of Vernon and Frances (Bruffeats) Parks. Andi grew up and attended schools in Ekalaka, graduating from High School in 1966. After graduation she went to work at the Dahl Memorial Hospital along with her mother. While in Ekalaka she met the man of her life and soul mate, Jerry Royce. They were united in marriage in Livingston, MT on November 11, 1972. Jerry and Andi moved to Big Timber where they made their home for the next eight years. In 1980 they moved to Columbus, MT where they made their home since. Andi worked at a convalescent center and the Kid?s Club until her retirement in April of 2003. Andi enjoyed traveling, especially going south for the winters, sitting in her swing in the back yard and listening to the birds sing and watching the little animals. She also liked the warmth of a campfire and dancing. Andi?s special love was for her family, especially her grandchildren. As her health declined over the past several years, her spirit was always bright. Survivors include, her husband Jerry, Columbus, MT; a daughter Shiloh (James) Hayford, Kalispell, MT; two sons: Jeff (Meredy) Royce, Absarokee, MT and Dave (Kim) Royce, Billings, MT; seven grandchildren: Amanda, Ashley, Allegra, Jeffery & Joshua Royce, and Krystal Royce and Tyler Hayford; a sister, Judy (Jerry) Clem, Red Lodge, MT and a brother Dennis (Kathy) Kuehn, Ekalaka, MT. Andi was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Frances Parks.
