Funeral Services for Angaletta ?Angie? Schollmeyer, 88, of Dickinson, formerly of Dunn Center, will be 11:00 a. m. , Monday, July 11, 2011 at Normanna Lutheran Church, Dunn Center. Burial will follow in Dunn Center Cemetery, Dunn Center. Visitation for Angie will be 3:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. , Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer. Angie passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson, ND. Angaletta Delores Pitzer was born June 9, 1923 in McGregor, Minnesota, the daughter of Harold and Muriel (Bishop) Pitzer. On January 31, 1942, Angie married Charles W. Schollmeyer in Wibaux, MT. Following their marriage, the couple purchased a farm 1 ? miles south of Dunn Center, ND where they lived their whole life. Angie was a people person. She enjoyed bowling and visiting with friends and family. Angie loved a rousing game of pinochle, dancing to good music and spoiling her well loved grandchildren. From 1995 through April 2006, Angie spent the winters at her home in Mesa, Arizona, where she had a number of relatives. Her children and grandchildren visited often. She enjoyed life, dancing, traveling and visiting. In the spring of 2006, Angie moved home from Arizona for the last time, into a new apartment in Benedict Court. For the next few years she enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and going to social functions at her old home town of Dunn Center. Angie is survived by her children, Charles A. (Shirley Oja) Schollmeyer, Dunn Center, ND, Charlotte (John) Freeman, Ridgecrest, CA, Clarence (Andrea) Schollmeyer, Killdeer, ND, Cliff (Marsha) Schollmeyer, Hardin, MT and Connie (Ray) Garwacki, Acton, CA; grandchildren, Erica (Tom) Legg, Will Freeman, Corby (Claudia) Schollmeyer, Mikal (Kelli) Schollmeyer, Sutheree (Jay) Lovell, Matthew Schollmeyer, Samuel Schollmeyer, Savannah Schollmeyer, Daniel (Cathy) Garwacki, John Garwacki and James Garwacki; 10 great-grandchildren, sisters Helen Dixon and Karen (Dennis) Guillio; brother-in-laws Alfred Schollmeyer and Eddie (Lorraine) Kreiger, sister-in-law Jean (James) Fischer, grandchildren, Bridget, Kathy and Charley. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; step-father, Fred Hendricksen; one sister Angeline (Lawrence) Fischer; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Albert and Francis Schollmeyer, James and Sue Schollmeyer, Lou Schollmeyer, Lucille Kreiger, Joe Schollmeyer, Henry Schollmeyer, Lawrence Fischer, Tom Kobitisch, Merle Dixon and grandchildren, Liza and Roaul Schollmeyer. The family suggests memorials to Dunn Center Cemetery or Dunn Center City Park.
