Ann Grinsteinner, age 80, of the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin and formerly of Hebron, died Saturday, July 8, at the Marian Manor. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 10:00 a. m. Central Time at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Hebron with the Rev. Sebastian Schmidt OSB. Visitation will be on Tuesday after 4:00 pm with Vigil services at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Ann?s Cemetery in Hebron. Ann was born September 4, 1925 in Dickinson, ND the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Bergmann) Burger. She was raised and educated in the New England area, later the family moved to a ranch North of Hebron. After the death of her mother, she took care of the other children in the family. On July 10, 1944 she married Joe Grinsteinner at Hebron. Following marriage they farmed south of Dodge until 1958 when they moved into Hebron. Ann loved to bake and share the goodies with everyone. She also enjoyed crocheting. Ann was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the St. Ann?s Christian Mothers. Joe died February 8, 1992. In June of 2002 she entered the Marian Manor in Glen Ullin where she has resided since. Those left to share the legacy of her love include four sons: Ken (Geri), Bismarck; Robert (Audrey), Mandan; Jim, of Bismarck; and Scott of Hebron; also her three daughters: Jan (Clayton) Carter, Hebron, JoAnn (Clayton) Schultz, New Salem, ND; and Bev (Wayne) Petri, Hebron, ND; 11 grandchildren, 10 great Grandchildren. Ann also leaves her brother: George Burger, Dickinson, and her sister: Emma Tuhy, Wahpeton, ND; as well as her half brothers: Joseph Burger, Tommy Burger, and Henry Burger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, her brothers Frank and Tony, and sisters Katherine, Magdalena, Mary and Tillie.
