A Funeral Mass for Ann Sevela, 96, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 am, Friday, October 2, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Charles Zins, celebrating. Burial will follow in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.
Visitation for Ann will be 1:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 1st at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil service being held at 6:00 pm.

Ann passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.
Ann E. Bayer was born March 12, 1924, in Lefor, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Weber) Bayer. She attended school through the eighth grade in Lefor at St. Elizabeth School. She made her first Holy Communion and Confirmation at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Lefor. Ann was united in marriage to Albert Sevela on June 23, 1947 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Aberle celebrating. In March of 1947, Ann went to work for FW Woolworth and worked there for 13 years. She also did volunteer work for the Arc Aid every Wednesday for 11 years. After retiring, she enjoyed coffee with her friends. She loved to cook and bake and have company over for dinners. Ann spent time crocheting, embroidering dish towels, babysitting and she did sewing alterations.
Ann was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching Mass and the Rosary on ETWN TV.
Ann is survived by her sister-in-law, Vickie Sevela of Spokane, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Joseph; husband, Albert; brothers, Ernie (Angeline) Bayer, Frank (Bertha) Bayer; sisters, Betty Hollinger, Mary (Frank) Reindel and Theresa (Lawrence) Knaup; sisters-in-law, Mary Oukrop, Rose Schropp; brothers-in-law, Joe, Frank, Tony, Louie and Chuck Sevela; and three infant sisters.
