Ann Tibor

Funeral Mass for Ann Tibor, 91, of Glen Ullin will be on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Hebron at 10:00 a. m. with Father Jeff Zwack celebrating. Burial will take place in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery south of Hebron. Visitation for Ann will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Ann passed away July 6, 2014 at Marion Manor in Glen Ullin. Ann (Conlon) Tibor, was born Oct 29, 1922, a daughter of Eugene and Eugenia (Kuntz) Conlon. When she was young, Ann attended country school and helped out on the farm milking cows. Ann attended high school in Richardton and worked for her room and board. Following high school she taught two years in a country school. Ann married Victor Tibor June 18, 1946, at St. Mary’s Church in Richardton. They lived and worked on the Tibor farm in Grant County where they raised their five children, James Victor, Denis Paul, Robert Harold, Terence John, and Jean Mary. Victor passed away on October 18, 1965. Ann stayed on the farm with the children and on November 26, 1974 she married Paul Tibor. The couple retired to Hebron in 1983. After Paul passed away in 2000, Ann moved to Glen Ullin and made her home there ever since. Ann enjoyed hunting in her early years, sewing and crocheting. She could also be found baking wedding cakes, and playing cards. She loved traveling, cooking and entertaining for everyone and anyone. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Survivors include her children, Jim (Linda) Tibor, Denis (Sarah) Tibor, Bob (Janet) Tibor, Terry (Kissanna) Tibor and Jean (Allen) Raaf; sister, Irene Stieg; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one step-great-grandchild. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Victor and Paul; and brothers, Frank, Raymond, Harold and John. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Hebron.
