Funeral Mass for Anna J. Fettig, 91, of Richardton, ND will be 10:00 a. m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Boniface Muggli, OSB officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Richardton. Visitation will be Sunday, May 28, 2006 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with Rosary held at 7:00 p. m. Visitation will continue Monday, May 29, 2006 from 9:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel and from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Richardton with Rosary and Vigil services taking place at 8:00 p. m. followed by a video tribute at St. Mary?s Church. Anna passed away Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Richardton Memorial Hospital in Richardton. Anna J. Fettig was born October 12, 1914, on the family farm in Dunn County to John and Christina (Schneider) Hauck. She grew up and attended area country schools. On October 30, 1939, Anna married Sebastian Fettig in St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Richardton. This union was blessed with six children. They made their home on a farm 14 miles north of Richardton. The family moved to Richardton in 1952 and opened Fettig?s Lockers and Caf?, which Anna and Sebastian owned and operated for nearly ten years. Anna opened Ann?s Caf? before moving to the Abbey to work as a cook until her retirement. Anna was a member of the Legion Auxiliary and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed bowling, card club, crocheting, quilting and gardeningAnna is survived by two sons, Raymond (Virginia) Fettig, Taylor, ND; Duane ((Mari) Fettig, St. Ignatius, MT; four daughters, Patricia (George) Dutra, St. Paul, MN; Darlene (Don) Portscheller of Sharpsburg, GA; Mariann (Tom) Voegele, Richardton, ND; Melinda (David) Andrews, Seattle, WA; one brother, Clemens J. Hauck, Rugby, ND; four sisters, Cecilia Frederick, Richardton, ND; Elizabeth Hamann, Rugby, ND; Lorraine Doll, New Salem, ND; Eva Zimmerman, Dickinson, ND; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Sebastian, five brothers, Peter, Paul, Frank, Nicholas, Adam, and one sister, Kathryn Fitterer.
