Funeral Services for Anna Huschka, 100, of Dickinson formerly of Belfield is 10:00 a. m. on Friday, February 6, 2004 at St. Bernard?s Catholic Church, Belfield with Father Shannon Lucht, celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Bernard?s Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 11:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with a rosary led by the Catholic Daughters and vigil being said at 7:00 p. m. led by Father Shannon Lucht with visitation continuing one hour prior to the service. Anna passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2004 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Anna was born March 30, 1903 in New Hradec, North Dakota to Frank and Rosalia (Roller) Krushensky. She grew up and attended country school in the New Hradec area. On June 15, 1925, Anna married Andrew J. Huschka in New Hradec. They moved to a farm south of Belfield. Together they farmed and raised their family for the next 40 years where her children were the center of her life. Anna would raise a large garden and canned all the family?s vegetables. They also raised chickens and pigs and milked a few cows. Anna sewed most of the boy?s shirts without a pattern. They moved to Belfield in 1965. Andrew died in 1993 and in July of 1996 Anna entered St. Benedict?s Health Center. Church being very important to her, she enjoyed singing in the Gaylord Catholic Church Choir. Anna was a member of the Catholic Daughters and St. Bernard?s Catholic Church, Belfield. Anna was so happy at St. Benedict?s Health Center, she would often tell her children how wonderful it was there along with the care provided by everyone. Anna is survived by her sons: Clarence (Ann) Huschka and Joe Huschka, both of Miles City MT, Fred (Angie) Huschka of Ellensburg, WA, Rolly (Dawanna) Huschka of Torrance, CA, Ray (Kay) Huschka of Norwalk, CA, Richard (Trudy) Huschka of Fergus Falls, MN, Andy (Connie) Huschka of Cypress, CA, and Bill (Alice)Huschka of Mandan, ND, daughters: Rose (Bobby) Cook of Austin, TX, and Jan (Bill) Champion of Miles City, MT, daughter-in-law: Marge Huschka of Davenport, ND, sister-in-law: Barbara Krushensky of Dickinson, ND and Clementina Faller of Dickinson, ND, 41 grandchildren,70 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, parents, son Leo, daughters Elenore and Maggie, brothers: Frank, Louie, Andy, and Joe, sisters: Josephine, Cecilia, and Lucy, four grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughters. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Benedict?s Health Center and St. Bernard?s Catholic Church.
