Mass and Christian burial for 69 year old Anna M. Kurtz, of Dickinson will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 at the St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Dennis Schafer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth?s Cemetery in Lefor, ND. Rosary and Vigil service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at the Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with Bernie Krebs and Deacon Ralph Stockert officiating. Anna Marie Kurtz, 69, of Dickinson, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2003, St. Joseph Hospital in Dickinson. Arrangements are with Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 4, 2003, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Anna Marie Kurtz passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Dickinson. Anna Marie Kurtz was born on June15, 1933 the daughter of Mike and Eva (Schneider) Flohr in Dickinson. She was raised in Lefor and attended school there. Ann was married to Ray Kurtz on October 9, 1951 at St. Elizabeth?s Catholic Church in Lefor. Ann was a cook at the Lefor School when the family lived there. After Pat & Mike graduated from school Ann and Ray moved to Dickinson in 1976 where they have made their home since. She continued cooking for several years at a few diners in town and then worked the later years at the cleaners with her niece, Pam. Ann being a kind and religious woman always loved and prayed for her family and friends. She enjoyed visiting with her friends at Wal?Mart, playing bingo with her sister, Luella and her niece Pam. She especially enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband, Ray, Dickinson; two children, Pat (Lyle) Lien, Hettinger and Mike (Tammie) Kurtz, Sidney, MT; three grandchildren, Andrea Werlinger, Bismarck, Justin Werlinger, Del Rio, TX and Kimberly Kurtz, Sidney; a great-granddaughter, Alaina; a brother, Robert (Lorraine) Flohr, Sacramento, CA and a sister, Luella (Kasper) Krebs, Dickinson. Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.
