Anna passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012, at the Fallon County Medical Complex Long Term Care Center in Baker, MT. Ki Nam Miller, or as her family and friends called her ?Anna? was born on May 20, 1928, in Inchon City, Korea, the daughter of Myong Sup and Kim Hong. She grew up in Inchon City where she attended school. Anna also attended school for a brief period of time in China. Anna met a US Serviceman by the name of Harold Fred Miller Sr. , and the two were married on April 1, 1953, in Inchon City. Following Harold?s tour of duty during the Korean Conflict, they along with their two sons, Harold Jr. , and William moved to Herried, SD where they lived on the Schmidt farm. While in Herried, three more children were born, Ann Marie, John and Diana. At the urging of Anna?s longtime Korean friend, Bonnie Kusler, the Miller family moved to Baker, MT in 1965. To help make ends meet, Anna did ironing, washing and mending for people. She eventually took a job as a hot lunch cook for the Baker Public School and retired after 24 years. This was a job she did very well and many times the recipes were from her memory, as she was unable to read English. Through great perseverance, Anna was able to learn to speak English. Anna often very proudly would tell people that the proudest day of her life was October 17, 1971. It was this day that she would become a United States Citizen. Anna was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was watching the grandchildren participate in sports. In her spare time she belonged to a homemakers club, volunteered fixing hair at the nursing home and was involved with the senior citizens center. Her greatest love was for her family and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Anna was a faithful and dedicated member of the Baker Assembly of God Church in Baker. Anna is survived by her children, Harold (Robin) Miller, Baker, MT, William Miller, Hyland, WY, Ann Marie Kendall, Baker, MT, John Miller, Baker, MT and Diana (Barry) Adolph, Pine Haven, WY; Her grandchildren, Jennifer Miller, Angela (Ryan) Skaarvold, Derek (Gulhan) Miller, Seth (Julia) Kendall, Kayla Adolph, D. J. Miller, Aaron Kendall, Colter Adolph, Breanna Miller and Kaley Miller and one great-grandson, Kaine Kendall. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold Miller Sr. The family requests memorials be made to the Home of Hope in care of Tom and Deb Barth, Baker, MT
