Anna Multhaup, 98, New England, ND, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 2 p. m. , Monday, August 23, 2004 at Congregational United Church of Christ, New England with Pastor Janel Kolar and Rev. Jerry Erickson officiating. Interment will be in the New England Cemetery, New England. Visitation will be 1 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p. m. Visitation will continue Monday at the church one hour prior to the service. Anna Pulkrabek was born January 23, 1906, in Glencoe, Minnesota, the daughter of Amil C. and Anna (Nemec) Pulkrabek. She graduated from Normal School in Glencoe with a teacher?s certificate and taught in country schools for several years. She clerked in the Von Drashek store in New England until she married Roy Multhaup on June 16, 1932, in Mott, ND. Roy died June 18, 1999, in Hettinger. She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, New England, and was a Past Matron of Cannonball Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Anna is survived by: three children, one daughter, Joan Multhaup, New England; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Jeanne, Arnold, CA and Herbert and Gladys, New England, ND; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law, LaFern Pulkrabek. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Roy; her parents; six brothers and five sisters.
