Anna Wax

Anna Wax, 86, Dickinson, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Mass of Christian Burial is 2 p. m. on Thursday, July 29, 2004, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson with the Rev. Jim Braaten, celebrating. Interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 2 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home with a rosary being said at 7 p. m. Anna Bosch was born on September 14, 1917, in Fryburg to Wendelin and Pauline (Rebson) Bosch. She attended school in Oakdale and Killdeer and graduated from Manning School. Anna worked from St. Joseph?s Hospital for several years and then the Fayette Store. She married Theodore Hendricks on February 18, 1941 in Killdeer. They farmed near Manning and then operated the Manning Garage. In 1968 Theodore died of cancer. Anna moved to Dickinson in 1968 and did babysitting, housekeeping and worked for several hotels and restaurants. She married Nick Wax on June 15, 1989. Anna was a member of the Eagles and St. Anthony. Anna is survived by: one son, Roger (Mary) Hendricks, Gillette, Wyo. ; one daughter, Beverly (Leland) Olson, Sheyenne, ND; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; five sisters, Margaret Steffan, Eleanore Nelson, Tillie Falhauber, Veronica Falhauber, and Pauline Schwindt, all of Dickinson, ND. She was preceded in death by: her parents; three husbands; two sons, Martin and Kenny; one daughter, Loretta Kolar; two sisters, Catherine and Barbara; four brothers, Martin, Steven, Joseph and Anton.
