On April 22, 1947, she married Cletus Wehri at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Cletus and Anna had eight children who were all raised on a dairy farm located north of Glen Ullin. Anna was a constant partner with Cletus on this farm. She milked cows at 5 a. m. and 5 p. m. every day. Anna was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Clement Catholic Church. She cleaned and pressed the linens. Anna served as an Eucharistic Minister and greeter at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Anna planted and canned very large vegetable gardens. She took great pride in her flower gardens and had great hopes of no pigs attacking them every year. She raised hundreds of chickens to provide for her large family. Anna also had a wonderful talent in patching up clothes, especially jeans, and darning what needed to be darned. Quilts were made for family members that were very cherished by all. Anna even assisted with finishing up quilts that were sent to African Missions. Anna and Cletus did a lot of dancing in their day, either in the kitchen, out in New Salem or in Beulah on a Saturday night or square dancing in old high school gym. Anna and Cletus raised their family on the farm and moved into Glen Ullin in 1993. Anna continued to serve as a daycare provider for some new moms in the community.
