A Funeral Mass for Annacleta Hartman, 77, of Richardton, will be 10:00 a. m. , Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richardton with Father Boniface Muggli, OSB and Father Steven Kranz con-celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation for Annacleta will be 1:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Sunday, March 10th from 2:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richardton. A Rosary and Vigil service will be held at 3:00 p. m. at the church on Sunday. Annacleta passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Richardton Health Center in Richardton, ND. Annacleta Bernhardt was born April 23, 1935, in Dickinson, the daughter of John and Veronica (Stocke) Bernhardt. She grew up on the family farm north of Taylor. Annacleta attended school at St. Mary’s in Richardton and Dickinson State Teaching College in Dickinson. She taught for one year before she was united in marriage to Roy Hartman on August 28, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richardton. The couple moved to a farm west of Killdeer. To this union, eight children were born. Before settling in the Glendive, MT area for 30 years, the family had lived in New Salem, ND and Huntley, MT. Annacleta and Roy later retired in Richardton, ND. Annacleta was a devoted homemaker and family was very important to her. She loved visiting on the phone to keep in touch with them all. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Annacleta is survived by her husband, Roy; sons, John (Sandie) Hartman of Wilton, ND, Tom (Allyson) Hartman of Prattville, AL, Tim (Terri) Hartman of Melissa, TX, Jim (Brandy) Hartman of WA; daughters, Cleta (Ray) Raymond of Vienna, VA, Margaret (Jeff Messer) Dykstra of Mandan, Caroline May of Dickinson, Veronica (Michael) Scales of Rio Rancho, NM; sister, Catherine Hermanson; grandchildren, Carmen, Kaili, Bob, Rob, Andy, Taylor, Tony, McKenzy; and great-granddaughter, Kiara. Annacleta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roman, Joe, Edmond, Gilbert and Howard Bernhardt; sisters, Melina Aman and infant Justine; and grandson, Chance Scales. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Parkinson Foundation.
