A Funeral Service for Anthony “Tony” Dolyniuk, 86, formerly of Belfield will be 11:00 a. m. , Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Sister Stephanie Dolyniuk officiating. Burial will take place in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Tony passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson, NDAntony Dolyniuk was a veteran merchant marine in WWII, an Army soldier in Korea and a cowboy at heart. He lived by his own code and did what he could for those around him. He was good people, strong as an Ox at 86, and determined to head west one last time. He never made it further west than Dickinson, ND where his last Sunset came on 11 May 2014 two days prior to his 87th Birthday. He passed away at 10 o'Clock that night still dreaming of one last Nevada adventure. Tony is survived by his son, Larry and daughter-in-law Teri-Lue Dolyniuk of Herndon, VA; two sisters, Sister Stephanie Dolyniuk and Betty Larson both of Bismarck; two grandchildren, Juli-Anna Dolyniuk of Davis, CA and David A. Dolyniuk of Herndon, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
