Funeral Mass for Anton ?Tony? L. Dvorak, 81 of Dickinson will be held 10:30 a. m. Friday, March 3, 2006 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father James Braaten and Father Bruce Krebs concelebrating. Burial will follow in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 10:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Dickinson. Tony passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 at St. Joseph?s Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson. Tony Dvorak was born November 24, 1924 to Joseph and Anna (Splichal) Dvorak in Stark County. He grew up on the family farm south of Dickinson and attended Wild Rose Grade School. Tony continued to help his parents on the farm, before enlisting in the Army Air Force during WWII. During his service, he received several awards and was honorably discharged in 1946. When he returned to Dickinson, he began to learn the trade of drywall and plastering. On August 21, 1950, Tony married Bertha Semerad in New Hradec, ND. The couple was blessed with three children. They farmed north of Dickinson for two years before moving to Dickinson where they made their home. Tony worked at Dickinson Clay Plant for several years before starting his own drywall taping and texturing business. ?Tony?s Taping and Texturing? is where he stayed busy the rest of his life. He was also a member of the KC Club, American Legion and St. Anthony?s Club. Tony was a good dad and husband throughout his life and was always willing to help people when he could. He enjoyed coffee time with friends, dancing and listening to old time music. Tony always looked forward to spending time with grandchildren and family. He enjoyed spending his last year with his newfound friend, GloriaTony is survived by: one son: Gllene Dvorak, Dickinson; two daughters: Gayle (Ed) Larson, Williston, ND, Gwaynel (John) Donatell, Woodbury, MN; four brothers: Paul Dvorak, Tom Dvorak, Stanley Dvorak, all of Dickinson; Vince Dvorak, Apache Junction, AZ; two sisters Emma Sanders, Dickinson, Mildred Dvorak, Woodburn, OR; five grandchildren, Tyler Larson, Glendive, MT; Tanon Larson, Fargo, ND; Tiffany Larson, Fargo,ND; Nathan Donatell and Katelyn Donatell both of Woodbury, MN; and his ?special friend? Gloria Wanner, Dickinson. He was preceded by his parents, his wife, Bertha; two brothers, Pete and Joe Dvorak; two sisters, Rose Bren and Helen Kadrmas.
