A funeral Mass for Anton “Tony” J. Kralicek, 90, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a. m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Kregg Hochhalter celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Visitation for Anton will be from 2:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. Monday at Stevenson Funeral Home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Tony passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Anton Joseph was born February 23, 1926 to Joseph and Mary (Dvorak) Kralicek in Dickinson, ND. Tony grew up on the family farm north of Dickinson where he attended country school. After school he continued to work on the farm and it was during this time that he met Bertha Ficek. Tony and Bertha were married on June 18, 1947, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. After marriage, they farmed with his parents in Stark County for two years. They then purchased Bertha’s parent’s farm in Dunn County where they farmed, ranched, and raised their family. They moved to Dickinson in 2006. Tony loved his horned Hereford cattle. He enjoyed competing at the Midland Bull Test and Sale, where he won champion pen of Hereford Bulls in 1992. He enjoyed all sports and livestock events that his children and grandchildren participated in. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and attending Stockmen’s Livestock sales. Tony’s true enjoyments in life were family and cattle. He will be dearly missed. He was a lifetime member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, North Dakota Stockmen’s Association, American Hereford Association and North Dakota Hereford Association, where he was chosen Hereford Man of the year in 1999. He was also a Golden Eagle of the Dickinson Eagles Club. Tony is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bertha; daughter, Buddine (Harlan) Bullinger of Dickinson; son, Curtis A. (Brenda) Kralicek of Manning; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica) Bullinger; Cade (Kristina) Kralicek; Jared (Bridget) Bullinger; Jenna (Storm) Sammon; Tyler (Chelsey) Kralicek; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe (Josie) Kralicek, Dickinson; sisters, Lillian Moore, Dorothy Kostelecky both of Oregon; brother-in-law, Laudie Kostelecky, Dickinson; sister-in-law, Blanche Kovash, Dickinson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary; infant brothers, Albert and George; sisters, Edith V. Kostelecky, Hattie (Anton) Kostelecky, Martha (Melvin) Watkins; Emily Ficek, Rose Kralicek, Anne (Val)Schmidt; brothers-in-law, Edmond Kostelecky and Jerry Moore.
