A Funeral Mass for Tony Reisenauer, 83, of Dickinson will be 3:00 p. m. , Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Shannon Lucht and Fr. William Ruelle con-celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.


Visitation for Tony will be 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Tuesday, May 14th at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil Service being held at 7:00 p. m.


Tony passed away Sunday, May 12th at St. Luke’s Home in Dickinson.


Anton Reisenauer was born November 14, 1929 in Slope County near Sheffield, ND, the son of Frank and Theresa (Kopp) Reisenauer. He lived near Sheffield until he was three years old and then the family moved by covered wagon to New England. He grew up attending school at Rainy Butte #1 through the eighth grade. Tony helped on the family farm. On October 16, 1950, he married Dorothy Hegel at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson. To this marriage, four children, Sandra, Debra, Pamela and Randall were born. Tony worked as a driller in the oilfield in Glendive and Baker, MT, Belfield and Dickinson, ND, and Roosevelt, Utah. He also worked several years for Craig & Jack Wandler on their horse farm and he did maintenance work for Comfort Inn. In his final years, God and his family were the most important to him. Tony enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dominoes, bingo, visitors and he loved to attend auctions. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Eagles Club, St. Anthony’s Club, Sunset Senior Citizens and he was a RSVP volunteer.


Tony is survived by his children, Sandra (Guy) Moos of Dickinson, Debra (Louis) Hutzenbiler of Belfield, Pamela (Keith) Pendill of Livingston,MT and Randall Reisenauer of Dickinson; ten grandchildren: Melissa Moos, Leslie Praus, Tamra Sperry, Kelly Obrigewitch, Christalynn Pribyl, Nicole Pribyl, Brandon Reisenauer, Josalynn Reisenauer, Jerrica Friedt and Bryce Reisenauer; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie Reisenauer Doe.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; brother, Leo Reisenauer; and sisters, Frances Reisenauer Reiss and Elaine Reisenauer Hanson.
