Anton Reiter

Anton Reiter, 85, Dickinson, died Monday, April 5, 2004, at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson. Funeral services will be 2 p. m. Wednesday, April 7, 2003, at St. Luke?s Home, Dickinson, with the Rev. Joe Howlett, officiating. Interment will be in Dickinson Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be Wednesday at St. Luke?s one hour prior to the service. Anton Reiter was born on November 12, 1918, in Schefield, ND to Ben and Rose (Schwindt) Reiter. He attended school in Zenith, and then worked as a farm and ranch hand in Manning and Killdeer area. On August 29, 1951, he married Rose Schwartz in Dickinson. Anton Reiter is survived by: his wife Rose, Dickinson; brothers, William F. Reiter, and Ras (Jan) Reiter, all of Dickinson; sisters, Mary Linhart, Brighton, Mich. and Josephine Highness, Dickinson. He was preceded in death by: his parents, three brothers and one sister.
