A funeral Mass for Antonia Anton, 90, of Dickinson, will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in New Hradec with Father Bill Ruelle celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation for Antonia will be 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a rosary and vigil service being held at 5:00 p.m.
Antonia was welcomed gracefully into God’s loving arms on Monday, January 22, 2018 at CHI St. Alexius Health, Dickinson.
Antonia was born on April 4, 1927, in Belfield, ND, the daughter of Vincent and Mary (Kostelecky) Krehlik.
Antonia and Albert K. Anton were united in marriage on November 6, 1951 in New Hradec. Before marrying Albert, Antonia worked as a cashier, after they were married they farmed together in the South Heart area for two years before purchasing their farm northwest of Dickinson. Their marriage was blessed with 14 children. Antonia and Albert loved their life on the farm and their time together. They enjoyed dancing and listening to polkas and waltzes. Albert passed away in 2001. Antonia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Time with her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed gardening, sight-seeing, shopping, going to the casino, baking and crocheting, sewing and visiting with family and friends. The delicious aroma of her baking would fill the entire house. Antonia’s smile would brighten the entire room and she will be dearly missed by all friends and family.

Antonia is survived by her three sons, Alvin of Dickinson, ND, David of Gillette, WY, Roger (LaVon) of Gillette, WY; ten daughters, Renea (Donnie) Duttenhefer of Dickinson, ND, Gloria (Rodney) Bohlman of Las Vegas, NV, Annette Kilwein of Dickinson, ND, Lorraine (Dennis) Faulhaber of Dickinson, ND, Sharon Anton of Gillette, WY, Kathleen (Jeff) Schwindt of Phoenix, AZ, Rosella Jensen of Henderson, NV, Susan Anton of Minot, ND, Colleen Johnson of Mandan, ND, Claudine (Bob) Rohde of Mandan; (15) grandchildren and (9) great-grandchildren; sister, Hattie Anton; and sister-in-law, MaryAnn Krehlik.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert (2001); infant son, Arnie; grandson, Timothy Faulhaber; sister, Mildred; and brothers Taft and Vince.Anton Antonia
