Funeral Services for Arlene “Faye” Napton, 88, of Baker, MT will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT with Pastor Bruce Kolasch officiating. Burial will follow in the Bonnievale Cemetery.

Visitation for Faye will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Baker.

Faye Napton left us to be with our Lord at the age of 88 years. She lived and was at her home in the Sheridan Manor nursing home in Sheridan, Wyoming.


She was born outside of Thunderhawk, S.D. the daughter of Paul and Merle Anderson. She married Ray Napton in Lemmon, S.D. on October 29, 1946.


After High School Faye attended college and worked for the telephone company of that time. In 1953 she and her husband Ray moved to Baker, MT and raised four children. They remained there until Ray’s death in 1978. She moved to Buffalo and then Sheridan, WY to be near a daughter there for the last 30+ years.


Faye is survived by two daughters, Linda Jafek of Sheridan, WY; Janet Huber of Denver, CO; two sons Gary and Craig Napton of Baker, MT; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Beyers of Baker, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Napton; brothers, Gene Anderson, Donny Anderson, and Kenny Anderson; and sister, Betty Lou Lutz.
