Arlene Schwartz

Arlene Schwartz, age 75 of Cherry Hill New Jersey and formerly of Richardton, died Sunday, May 28, 2006 at her residence in Cherry Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 Mountain Time on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Richardton with Father Boniface Muggli, OSB as Celebrant. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held in the St. Ann?s Cemetery in Hebron. Arlene was born January 15, 1931 in Richardton the daughter of Marcus and Ottilla (Brandt) Thomas. She was raised and educated at Richardton. She married Richard P. Schwartz September 20, 1954 at St. Mary?s in Richardton. They began their married life on Richardton where her husband practiced law. They moved several times in their years together starting at Garrison in 1958 and in1962 to Riverdale, ND, Grand Forks, ND in 1965 and in 1966 to Cherry Hill, NJ. Richard?s work kept them on the move to several eastern seaboard communities and ending up back in Cherry Hill. Arlene was active in her church, enjoyed bowling and bingo. She was the loving mother of her daughter Jolene Schwartz, and her friend Lee Volpe, of Cherry Hill, NJ; her son and daughter-in-law: Bryan and Eileen, Nanuet, NY and one grandson Jason. Two brothers: Henry Thomas, Bismarck, ND; Larry Thomas Coon Rapids, MN; and two sisters: Bertha Schultz, McGregor, MN; and Lu Stanley, Lovell, WY.
