Ava Binek

A funeral service for Ava Kay Binek will be 2:00p. m. , Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran in Dickinson with Pastor Brian Davidson officiating. Burial will take place at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Visitation for Ava will be 1:00 p. m. – 8:00 p. m. , Tuesday, May 6at Stevenson Funeral Home with a prayer and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 a. m. to noon and one hour prior to the service at the church. We celebrate the life of Ava Kay Binek, the beautiful and precious daughter of Lindsey Dukart Binek and Joshua Jorde. She will be honored and remembered by her brothers, Ayden and Emitt Binek. Ava was born on June 20, 2013 in Bismarck, North Dakota and left us all far too soon on May 3, 2014. Ava’s unforgettable smile and contagious laugh brought tremendous joy and happiness to those who were blessed to share in her all but brief life. We all delighted in her charismatic personality, curiosity for life, and her radiating love for her family. Ava touched our hearts and souls by her desire to “talk”, her continuous movement, and her baby blue eyes. Ava gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. Our little Ava has changed our lives forever. Her loving and beautiful memories will always be in our hearts. Words cannot express the sadness of those who were left behind. Ava will be greatly missed by her parents, Lindsey Dukart Binek and Joshua Jorde; brothers, Ayden and Emitt; grandparents, Beverly and Brian Olejnicak, Marty (Dayna) Randall, and Wayne and Vangie Jorde; aunts, Autumn Olejnicak, Wendy (Brandon) Stevenson, Angie Jorde, and Angela (Steve) Bagan; uncle, Justin Jorde; great-grandparents, Idell (Vernon) Hovdenes, June Bye, Josh Randall, Deb Beld, and Shirley (Richard) Dukart; and extended friends and family. Ava was preceded in death by great-grandpa Gordon Bjornstad, great-uncle, Terry Bjornstad; and great-aunts, Kathy Bjornstad and Pam Bye. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you to bring a children’s book to our celebration, which will be donated in Ava’s memory.
