Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Krushenisky, 93 of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Monday, January, 17, 2005 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Austin Vetter celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery at South Heart. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2005 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service. Barbara passed away Thursday, January 13, 2005 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Barbara was born October 23, 1911 near Daglum in Stark County, North Dakota to Jacob and Frances (Reiter) Miller. She grew up and attended school in Stark County. On June 30, 1931 Barbara was married to Joseph Krushenisky at Belfield. They made their home on the farm seven miles northwest of New Hradec until Joseph?s death in 1949. She moved to Dickinson in 1950 where she made her home since. Throughout the years, she cooked for the public schools, Elks and Knights of Columbus Club. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, crocheting, baking and sharing her garden produce and baked goods with friends and family. Barbara made many quilts and pajamas for her grandchildren which they all loved and enjoyed. Survivors include three sons: Leonard Krushenisky of Sterling, CO, Richard (Bev) Krushenisky of Cozad, NE and James (Laurie) Krushenisky of Estes Park, CO; two grandchildren: Rick (Cindy) Krushenisky of Lincoln, NE and Ann (Kraig) Osborn of Cozad, NE; four great-grandchildren: Amanda and Joseph Krushenisky of Lincoln, NE and Blake and Carrie Osborn of Cozad, NE; a brother, Roy (Betty) Miller of Chattaroy, WA; a sister, Pauline Hatzenbuhler of Dickinson; a sister-in-law, Vivian Miller of Chattaroy, WA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph in 1949; a granddaughter, Carrie Lee Krushenisky; five brothers: Rone, Joseph, Daniel, Jack and Ben; and three sisters: Mary Herauf, Elizabeth Huschka and Rose Miller.
