Barbara Martwick

Funeral Services for Barbara Martwick, 72, of Glen Ullin will be 10:00 a. m. CT, Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Ullin with Pastor Toby Heller officiating. Interment will follow at the Glen Ullin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. CT, Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Glen Ullin with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the church. Barbara passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, in the loving care of her husband and one of her sons at MedCenter One Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Barbara Ann Martwick was born August 9, 1937, in Oriska, ND, one of twelve children born to Milford and Francis (Fieber) Wagner. She married Daniel (Bud) Martwick on December 15, 1953. They resided in Edgeley for 50 years until 2001, when they moved to Glen Ullin, ND, to be closer to their children. Barbara enjoyed puzzle books, and her favorite reading material was a good cookbook. Her family enjoyed many wonderful German meals together. She also enjoyed her weekly coffee time with the girls in Edgeley. Her happiest days were when her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were with her. Barbara is survived by her husband Daniel, Glen Ullin, ND; children, Randy Martwick, Glen Ullin, ND, Doug (Laurie) Martwick, Glen Ullin, ND, Tim (Roxanne) Martwick, Arlington, WA, and Lisa (Leland) Miller, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Melissa (Greg) Feser, Bismarck, ND, Cindy Martwick, Glen Ullin, ND, Shane Martwick, Milwaukee, WI, Vanessa Martwick, Marysville, WA, Nicholas (Stefanie) Martwick, Marysville, WA, Brittany Miller, Fargo, ND, and Casey Miller, Bismarck, ND; and seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Quintin, Danielle, Alex, Joseph, Sierra, and Adam. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and her beloved grandson, Lee.
