Barbara Strait

Barbara Ann Strait passed away July 4, 2017, at Dahl Memorial Health Care.


Barb was born February 20, 1943 to David and Louise (Ness) Mulkey in Ekalaka, MT. She was the third of nine children.


Barb attended school in Ekalaka and for a few months in Miles City, MT., before moving back to Ekalaka to finish school. She later attended Beauty School in Miles City, MT.


Barb and Francis Strait were married September 28, 1963. To this union two children were born: Rod and 2 years later Rhoda.


Barb worked many years as a waitress and a cook.


Barb is survived by her sister’s, Crystal Klueger, Vivian Mackay, Linda Dent, and Sandy McCord; step-children Rod, Lee, and Jeanie; special grandson Levi; and many grandchildren and step grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis; daughter, Rhoda; parents, David and Louise; brothers, Larry and Terry Mulkey, Richard Shuffield, her sister Helen Maclkey, Jack Krieger and Wes Dent.


At Barb’s request cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
