Mass of Christian Burial for Beatrice Kuntz, 96, of Dickinson, formerly of Schefield, ND will be 10:30 a. m. , Monday, April 12, 2010, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, ND, with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rosary will be led by St. Ann?s Society 10:00 a. m. Monday, April 12, 2010, at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. Visitation will be 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. Beatrice passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010, at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Beatrice Billman was born January 31, 1914, the daughter of Jacob and Marion (Bast) Billman on the family farm in Schefield, ND. She grew up on the farm and attended school at St. Pius in Schefield. On November 26, 1935, she married Frank V. Kuntz at St. Pius Catholic Church. Together, they moved to a farm six miles east of Schefield until 1953. They then moved to Dickinson, ND. Beatrice worked at various jobs over the years in Dickinson. She enjoyed playing cards, all types of dancing, bingo and crafts of all kinds. She has been an active member in St. Joseph?s Catholic Church since 1953, St. Pius Verein since 1937, German Hungarian Lodge for 50 years, social member of St. Anthony?s, Senior Citizens, St. Ann?s Society, Happy Time Band, and RSVP. Beatrice is survived by her children, Leona Pachl, Angela (Don) Faller, Aquilinus ?Ackie? (Judy) Kuntz, all of Dickinson, ND, Doug (Carol) Kuntz, Las Vegas, NV; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Kostelecky, Sioux Falls, SD; sister-in-laws Veronica Billman, Billings, MT, Maria Billman, Centralia, WA; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Jacob and Marion; son-in-law, Bob Pachl; daughter-in-law, Elaine Kuntz; great-grandson, Trinity Anderton; four brothers, Anton, Leo, Frank and Joe; two sisters, Rose and Magdalen; and six siblings in infancy. Memorials may be made to St. Benedict?s Health Center, St. Ann?s Society or St. Joseph?s Catholic Church.
