Beatrice Siring

A Liturgy of the Word for Beatrice M. “Bea” Siring, 97, of Sidney, MT formerly of Baker will be 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013, in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT. A recitation of the Rosary will take place at 10:30 a. m. prior to the Funeral Service. Bea passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Sidney Health Center in Sidney, MT following a short illness. Beatrice was born on May 6, 1915 at the family home 25 miles south of Baker a daughter of Octave and Auxilia (Parent) Parent. She attended country school at Chimney Creek School and moved into Baker to attend Baker High School. She stayed with the Corbett Family in Baker while attending High School. Beatrice met the love of her life when she met Walter Siring; on April 1, 1934 they were married at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Plevna, MT. After their first son was born in Plevna, they moved to California, and then to Spring Dale, Washington, then settled back in Baker. Over the years Beatrice worked for Roy?s Motel and the Fallon County Library. Beatrice belonged to St. Johns Catholic Church, Alter Society and the Baker Homemakers Club, and she enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends. Beatrice also played the Saxophone for the Baker Swingsters Band. She loved music and loved to go dancing. Beatrice came from a large family of eleven children; four brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her sister, Sister Jeanette Parent of Renton, Washington; two sons, Walter Siring and his wife Marsha of Coeur d?Alene, ID. Ronald Siring and his wife Rosy from Gresham, OR; her daughter Barbara Carver and her husband Lenny from Sidney, MT; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Octave and Auxilia, her son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Eleva Siring, her brothers, James, George, Alex and Albert Parent and sisters, Alice Wiseman, Sister Annette Parent, Blanche Lewis, Rosie Hughs and Aurora Baker.
