Funeral Mass for Bernard ?Bernie? Roller, 52, of Dickinson, will be 1:00 p. m. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick?s Cemetery, DickinsonVisitation will take place from 1:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a rosary and prayer service taking place at 7:00 p. m. Bernie passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at his home in Dickinson, ND. Bernard James Roller was born November 17, 1958 in Dickinson, ND to Lawrence P. and Minnie Rose (Binstock) Roller. He grew up in Dickinson and attended St. Patrick?s grade school and Trinity High School. In 1977, he married Kim Kolling and they had two daughters, Celicia Roller and Caylla Hegstad. Bernie worked for Husky Industries at Lehigh, ND from 1977 until the plant closed in the early 1990?s. He later worked for Fisher Industries, Grand Dakota Lodge, Albertsons and M&H all in Dickinson. Bernie received his GED diploma after Husky Industries closed. He went on to attend Dickinson State University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting. Bernie loved traveling and riding his motorcycle around the Dickinson area. He enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends over a cup of coffee. Bernie had been faithfully attending AA for a number of years. Bernie is survived by his mother, Minnie Roller of Dickinson; daughters, Celicia Roller of Dickinson, and Caylla (Ben) Hegstad of Gladstone; six grandchildren, Shellby and Nevaeh Roller of Dickinson, Eaven, Dylan, Ali & Jude Hegstad of Gladstone; his former wife, Kim Abrahamson of Dickinson; three brothers, Marvin Roller of Glasgow, MT, Vernon (Bernadette) Roller of Bismarck and Larry (Coleen) Roller of Moorhead, MN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; one brother Patrick; and a niece Nichole Roller.
