Funeral Mass for Bernice Parker, 52, of Dickinson, ND will be 10:30 a. m. , Friday, June 26, 2009 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Golva, ND with Father David Richter celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Mary?s Cemetery, Golva, ND. Visitation will be 12 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home Dickinson, ND. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 27, 2009 from 9 a. m. to 10:30 a. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Golva, ND. Bernice passed away Sunday, June 22, 2009 at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Dickinson, ND. Bernice Ann Susa was born November 10, 1957 in Dickinson, ND to Martin A. and Gertrude E. (Obrigewitch) Susa. She grew up on the farm 7 miles southeast of Golva, ND. She attended school in Golva and graduated from Golva High School. She worked at the Wibaux Nursing Home before attending college at Dickinson State University. Bernice later met Andrew Parker and the two were married on June 29, 1989 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Golva, ND. The couple made their home in Dickinson. Bernice was the homemaker and continued to pursue various studies. She liked to read novels and mysteries. She enjoyed crocheting and needle work. She enjoyed bowling, especially with her family. Bernice is survived by her husband, Andrew, Dickinson, ND; sisters, Loraine (Larry) Kaul, LaMoore, ND and Veronica Susa, Dickinson, ND; brothers, Richard Susa, Golva, ND and Paul (Ann Marie) Susa, Naperville, IL; nieces and nephews, Steven, Jennifer, Carolyn Susa, David (Kay Alee) Espne Kaul, Debby (Edward), Lillian Heisinger, Barbara (Derrick) Reifenrath, Bethany Kaul, Maria Kaul. She is preceded in death by her mother Gertrude.
