Funeral Services for Bernadette ?Bernie? Sturgeon, 67, of Dickinson, will be 3:00 p. m. , Saturday April 16, 2011 in the chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Burial will be at a later date in the Gorham Cemetery. Visitation for Bernie will be from 11:00 am to 5 pm, Friday, April 15, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Bernie passed away Monday, April 4, 2011 at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Bernadette Logosz, 67, of Dickinson was born June 24, 1943 in Dickinson, the daughter of Matt and Katie (Evoniuk) Logosz. She grew up and attended school in Belfield, ND graduating from Belfield High School in 1961. On October 15, 1966, she married Robert Sturgeon and to this union two children were born: Carolyn and Michael. As a young married couple, they moved to Apple Valley, MN. In December of 1984, the family moved to Clear Lake, WI at which time Robert continued his work in the postal service. In December of 1998, Bernie and Robert moved back to Dickinson to retire and to be closer to her family. Bernie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, playing cards and gardening. She truly had a giving spirit and a heart of gold. Bernie devoted her whole life to Robert, Michael and Carolyn. Bernie is survived by her husband, Robert of Dickinson, ND; a daughter, Carolyn Harkins of Rapid City, SD; a son, Michael Sturgeon of Golden Valley, MN; twin sister Angie Chruszch of Belfield, ND, sisters Vickie (Ray) Karras of Fairfield, ND, Patsy (Gary) Kadrmas of Belfield, ND, Marina (Hugh) Hlebechuk of Belfield, ND, and Charolotte (Darryl) Heim of Dickinson, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Katie Logosz.
