Mass of Christian burial for Bertha Reinert, 95, of Dickinson, ND formerly of Richardton, ND will be 9 a. m. , Monday, September, 8, 2008 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Richardton, ND with Father Boniface Muggli celebrating. Burial to follow in the St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a. m. to 5 p. m. , Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson and continue from 6 p. m. to 9 p. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Richardton, ND with a Rosary and Vigil service at 7 p. m. Bertha passed away September 5, 2008 at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson, ND. Bertha was born July 12, 1913, the daughter of Anton and Florentina (Hatzenbeuhler) Feller in Richardton, ND. She grew up in Richardton and attended St. Mary?s school. Upon completing her schooling, Bertha worked as a Nurse?s Aid in Dickinson, as well as a nanny in Richardton. She helped in the raising of her many nieces and nephews, for whom she had a special love for over the years. Bertha met Charles Reinert and they were united in marriage January 7, 1953 in St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Richardton. The couple made their home in Mott, ND and operated their farm. It was during this time, she developed her love of art, especially painting. Together, the couple retired to Richardton. At the turn of the century, Bertha moved to Dickinson where she made her home. She enjoyed gardening and had a special love for music and playing the harmonica. Bertha is survived by: numerous nieces and nephews, all of which hold a special place in her heart. She is preceded in death by: both parents; husband, Charles; brothers, Michael and Mathew; sisters; Catherine Pflepson, Barbara Walton and Beatrice Vandersloot
