Beth passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family and caregivers. Beth Amanda Reems was born on January 1, 1983, in Dickinson ND, to Rick and Linda (Schwindt) Reems. After her birth, the family knew they had a very special child that needed extra care. Beth soon warmed the hearts and souls of numerous caregivers that met her needs for the next 24 years. She grew up and attended schools in Killdeer, Minot and Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 2004. In 1995, she became a resident at Able due to her required extensive medical care. It was there she made her home with her extended family until her death. Though her communication skills were limited, Beth?s smile spoke volumes and brightened the days of those who cared for her. Even though Beth has passed away, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched in a very special way. She always enjoyed bright balloons, soft toys, flashing lights and music. The gift of her organs and tissues was her last act of love to those in need. Beth is survived by her loving parents, Rick and Linda Reems, Killdeer, and a grandmother, Thelma Reems, Killdeer. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda (David) Jallo, Omaha, NE, two brothers, Brent (Brenda) Reems, Mandan ND, and Brandon Reems, Fargo ND, and her nieces and nephews: Brianna, Brittany and Connor Jallo, and Megan Reems. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Ed Schwindt and Harold Reems, and also a grandmother, Theresa Schwindt.
