Bethel ?Beth? Morris, 77, Dickinson, died Sunday, August 27, 2006, at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a. m. , Thursday, August 31, 2006, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson with Rev. Pat Higgins officiating. Visitation will be 5 p. m. to 9 p. m. , Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. Bethel ?Beth? Lambourn was born November 17, 1928 in Faith, SD to Earl and Ruby Lambourn. She attended elementary and high school in Reeder, graduating in 1947. She then graduated from Spearfish Teachers College in 1948. She taught school in South Dakota, Montana, and North Dakota. Beth married Wayne Morris on July 23, 1950 at Our Saviour?s Lutheran Church in Reeder. They lived in Forsythe, MT until 1953 before moving to their farm northwest of New England. She was a homemaker and a mother of seven children. She worked as a certified nurses assistant at St. Benedict?s Health Center and St. Luke?s Nursing Home. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dickinson and was a member and volunteer of the Senior Companions Program. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, traveling, card playing (pinochle), and music. Beth is survived by: two daughters, Carla Morris and Pamela (Thomas) Locket, both Dickinson; five sons, James (Arlene) Morris, Casper, WY, Robert (Linda) Morris, Mandan, ND, Milo (Pamela) Morris, Dickinson, Jeffrey (Lorie) Morris, Vancouver, WA, and Guy (Dana) Morris, Brush Prairie, WA; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her mother, Ruby Lambourn, Dickinson; two sisters, Darlene (Robert) Ruby, Ames, IA, Joan (John) Maskie, Montrose, CO; one sister-in-law, Donna Lambourn, Edmonds, WA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wayne Morris; father, Earl Lambourn; brother, Lawrence Lambourn, and sister, Mary Holmes. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Heartland Hospice, 30 7th St. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601, or St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 146 6th Ave. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601 to purchase hymnals.
