Funeral Service for Elizabeth ?Betty? Anne Larson, 71 of Baker, MT will be 11:00 a. m. Thursday, August 31, 2006 at American Lutheran Church in Baker, MT with Pastor Reba Kolasch officiating. Special music will be provided by Ruth Wang and musical recordings by Betty. Interment will follow in the family lot at Bonnievale Cemetery in Baker, MT with Mike Lovec, Melvin Rabe, Brandon Bublitz, David Wickstrom, Daine Hufford, Jacob Bublitz and Dustin Bublitz as pallbearers. All of Betty?s grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be 12:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 in the Chapel of the Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. . Arrangements are under the direction of the Stevenson Funeral Home of Baker, MT. Betty passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 at her home in Baker with her family at her side. Elizabeth ?Betty? Anne Larson was born April 19, 1935 to Jake and Bernice (Carew) Kingsley in Wibaux, MT. She grew up and attended schools in Baker, MT where she graduated from Baker High School in 1953. Betty married Richard Bublitz on January 4, 1956 in Baker. Betty and Richard later moved to Beach, ND and Malta, MT. Eventually they moved back to Baker where Betty continued to live and raise her family. Betty married Charles O. Larson on May 15, 1982 in Baker. Chuck passed away on December 13, 1993. Betty worked at Fallon Medical Complex as a nurse?s aid, and became the supervisor in the laundry department prior to her retirement. At one point during her life, Betty even drove truck, driving the big 18-wheelers. She was very involved in the Baker community serving on the RSVP Board, Fallon County Council on Aging Board, Secretary/Treasure for the Baker Senior Citizen Center and President of the Women?s Bowling Association for 4 years as well as singing for many weddings and funerals. Betty loved to dance and bowling was her game, but her real pleasure in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three sons, Timothy Wayne (Liz) Bublitz, Fort Bridger, WY, Richard Dean (Eu Don) Bublitz, Delta, UT and Bill (Amy) Larson, Beach, ND; four daughters, Cynthia Renee (Mark) Reed, Winslow, AR, Teresa Lynn (Randy) Anderson, Hettinger, ND, Anne Marie (Nolan) Verke, Baker, MT and Myra Jo (Ed) Wickstrom, Baker, MT; a sister-in-law, Carla Kingsley, Walla Walla, WA; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Raymond Stordahl, Bowman, NDShe was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Bernice, Her husband Chuck, her twins, son, Dennis Lee Bublitz and daughter, Denise Marie Bublitz, son-in-law Gary Hufford and her brother Donald James Kingsley.
